All in Pre-Dental

I feel like a proud Asian parent beaming with pride when I tell people that she finished both the second grade homework packet and the third grade homework packet within one hour. (It normally takes the kids one hour to finish one homework packet)
My favorite part of Delta Delta Sigma is our weekly Spread the Smile campaigns at local elementary schools.
I never believed that I would be a tutor. For one, I don't have the patience and two, I don't know how to teach people. I'm one of those people who knows the material but isn't able to coherently convey the information from my brain to my tutee. Nevertheless, I joined the Asian American Tutorial Project.
While the carefree freshman were blissfully sunbathing on the grassy lawns in McCarthy Quad, I was holed up in the dental school research lab for much of the afternoon. Today was my first day back in the lab after a one week hiatus to take the DAT. I was surprised by the newly renovated lecture hall on the fourth floor that's equipped with two flat screen tvs on the outside. It smelled so new!
I’m finally done with the DAT after 28 days of the grind (well, technically 25 days because I was out with the flu for 3 days). I spent my winter vacation studying from 9am – midnight with a few intermittent breaks. I’m relatively happy with my score although I feel like I could have done better in a few categories. I’ll give a breakdown of my DAT here.
December 1st. It's a magical day for pre-dental students who are applying to dental school. It's the first day that they will know whether or not they have been accepted into dental school.
