A two hour drive took us from Kaohsiung, my father's childhood hometown, to Kenting National Park, the southernmost tip of Taiwan.

Travelling through the middle parts of Taiwan was a blur for me. All I remember was a LONG car ride from Taipei to Kaohsiung interspersed with many pit stops at tourist attractions.
