Tossing frisbees and footballs by the ocean. Lounging on the beach, listening to the tranquil roar of the waves. All-you-can-eat Korean barbeque to your heart's content. Then singing your heart out to those good ol' 90s songs we all knew so well as kids.
Time really does fly by. Less than a decade ago, we were all children trying to discover who we were in the awkward world otherwise known as middle school. Now, we are all turning 21 and embarking on our future careers.
Years pass, people change. Sometimes, you find that you have less and less in common with the person you were closest to in middle school. Despite our best intentions, interests diverge after college. Life happens. The only thing you seem to have in common with that person is the strong friendship you shared eight years ago.
Some people have great ability to keep in touch with people from high school. I've been quite terrible at it but I'm always excited when there is the opportunity to hang out with them once every blue moon.
