USC Dean's List - Spring 2011

It has taken me five semesters but I've finally made it onto the Dean's List.

I used to take this Dean's List stuff for granted in high school. Back then, studying for a test meant cracking open the book five minutes before the exam. Back then, no matter how much I slacked, I could usually pull off a report card with six A's and one B. The Dean's List had no meaning for me because it seemed like anyone could attain a 3.5 easily. I never expected that one day, it would simply be a challenge just to get your name on the Dean's List.

To many in college, the Dean's List is still insignificant and taken for granted. But for me, this is a pretty special occasion.
