I spent Memorial Day Weekend in sunny San Diego, which ironically, was very chilly. Pre-summer weather in Southern California is extremely bipolar. It will be blazing hot one day and the next day, I'll have to step out in my winter coat and boots.

We visited Disneyland and California Adventures yesterday, making it the second time I've been to Disneyland in a span of two months.

I'm not the adventurous type of girl by any means. Given the option, I'd rather sit at home and be a homebody. But every year, I find myself willingly dragged into an extreme adventure trip - Six Flags, paintballing, etc.

The weather in Los Angeles had been unusually cold this winter so we decided to venture as far south as we could for spring break. With the drug cartels and everything, Mexico wasn't an option for people who valued their lives. So we drove down to San Diego for the weekend and made a pit stop at La Jolla Cove.

The Boy and I took a short trip to the La Brea Tar Pits yesterday, savoring the beautiful mid-January sun. It was a good way to spend my first Saturday of freedom post-DAT.
