Done With Finals!
I'm simply thankful that my last final is a take-home online final considering it's raining cats and dogs outside at the moment. There is nothing worse than taking a final drenched in rain.
I'm also thankful that I passed biomechanics with a "B", a class that I was truly afraid I would fail.
Over the weekend, the bipolar weather gods of Los Angeles decided to shower us with warmth and good weather. We took the opportunity to visit the Getty Museum, which has an amazing view overlooking Los Angeles.
From the top of the Getty there is a clear and unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean on the horizon.
The trip to the Getty was also an attempt to channel my inner "Neal Caffrey". We were vigilantly on the lookout for artwork from Edgar Degas, whose artwork Neal Caffrey and Mozzie were pawning off in the last episodes of White Collar.
And we did find Degas - in the impressionist gallery. Although I have to say that I'm not a fan of Degas. But I did find other works of art that I was impressed with.
"A Banquet Piece" by Pieter Claesz. It's amazing how he was able to paint the glass so realistically.
And Monet's piece.
Plus this extravagant French bed.
Two more days until I'm off to New York!
Praying that I won't freeze to death there.
